Obituary of Harold J Mulcahy

Harold J. Mulcahy, 92, died on Tuesday Nov. 7, 2011 at Merry Heart Care Center in Boonton Twp., NJ.
He was born in Hoboken and grew up in Jersey City. He lived in Cranford, NJ before moving to Lakewood, NJ in 1984 and later to Morris County in 2006.
Because of a disability he could not serve during WWII, however because of his love for his country he chose to help by building tanks and helped to load ships with military supplies for the war effort.
Harold spent his career as a salesman in the steel industry working with various companies, retiring in 1984 after 40 years of service.
His wife Catherine "Kit" Mulcahy died in 1997. He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Eileen M. and George Brogan of Wall, NJ, Thomas M. and Kathleen Mulcahy of Denville, William H and Joann Mulcahy of Morristown, and Daniel J. Mulcahy of Miami Lakes, FL.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jacqueline Brogan, Robert & Jen Brogan, Carrianne Brogan, Kaitlin Mulcahy & George Leuchs, Conor & Christine Mulcahy, Liam Mulcahy, Beth Mulcahy, Kara Mulcahy, Erin & Ed Dunne, and Matthew Mulcahy, and his ten great grandchildren, Thomas, Mary, Sean, Maggie, Colleen, Kelly, Robert, Mairead, Kevin and Eddie.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ on Saturday Nov. 12, 2011 at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM Liturgy of Christian Mass at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
