Obituary of Isolde Porsche-Maier

Isolde Porsche-Maier, 84 of Denville, formerly of Doylestown, PA and Washington Twp. (Bergen County), passed away on Wednesday, September 25th at home. Born December 9, 1928 in Liberec, Czechoslovakia, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Anna (Krause) Huebner. Isolde was well known for her love of the arts and music, and spent her early life dancing on stages in Vienna and Czechoslovakia.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Porsche in 1978 and Gottlieb Maier in 1992, and her dear friend Kenneth Frater.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Janet Porsche (John Hyde) of Parsippany, and Audrey Porsche (Brian Alexander) of Cooperstown, NY; grandsons Jason, Peter, and Christian; sister-in –law Barbara Lauterbach; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved companion, her dog Ivory.
Funeral will begin on Saturday, September 28th at 8:30 am at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, with a service at Church of the Saviour, 155 Morris Rd, Denville at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, September 27th from 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church of the Saviour or the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, 475 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.
