Mr. Guidi was born in Brooklyn, NY grew up in Greenwich Village, NY before moving to Closter, NJ where he lived for 35 years. He retired to Daytona Beach, FL and moved this year to Randolph, NJ. Lawrence served in the United States Army and is a Korean War veteran. He was employed as a printer for the New York Daily News retiring many years ago. He was a proud member of the New York Typographical Union. His son Lawrence F. Guidi Jr predeceased him in 2009. Lawrence is survived by his loving wife Alma (nee Bassi) Guidi, his daughter Lisa Higgins and her husband Paul and their son Colin, his daughter-in-law, Tara Guidi and her children Lawrence F. III, Bianca, Jordan and Giancarlo Guidi. Lawrence’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Lawrence on website), on Monday October 24th at 9:30am for a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Catherine of Siena Church Mountain Lakes, NJ, interment at St. John’s Cemetery Middle Village, NY. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday October 23rd from 2-4pm.
