Robert "Bob" Sandra, 75, of Denville, passed away on Saturday September 21, 2013 at home after a long illness.
Born in Passaic, NJ, he grew up in Rutherford and has lived in Denville the last 35 years.
Bob worked as a bookbinder and also a pressman for the Star Ledger. He was a dedicated volunteer for the Rescue and Recovery Team in Parsippany. He was a member of the Denville Seniors. He enjoyed spending time with his valued family and friends sharing interests and reminiscing.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Carol, loving son Steven Sandra and grandson Shawn of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, loving step-daughter Dawn Winters of Denville and step-son Cary Brehm of Rural Hill, NC. He was the devoted grandfather of Arielle Winters and Robyn Winters of Denville. Also surviving is a daughter Kathleen Losh of NC and grandchildren Megan and Amanda, and loving niece Debbie Caffrey and husband Bill of North Arlington.
Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday October 3rd at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ from 2-4 with services at 4pm.
