Frank O. Inderwies, 67, passed away at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Denville, NJ, on Friday, September 20, 2013.
Frank was born in Orange, NJ and grew up in Bloomfield, NJ. In 1977, he moved with his family to Denville, NJ. Frank attended Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair, NJ and served during the Vietnam War in the United States Army and in the Reserves until 1971. He was an insurance liability claims manager and worked for Firemen’s Fund for 22 years, the Medical Inter Insurance Exchange (MIIX), and most recently Hanover Insurance.
Frank was continually involved in his children’s activities in the community, including Denville Hub Soccer and softball. He was a leader of the Morris Knolls High School Marching Band Boosters organization for over 12 years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, council #3359, in Denville, NJ.
Frank is survived by his wife of 44 years, Christine A. (nee Lawrence) Inderwies, his children, Laurie Justus and her husband William, Lisa Evers and her husband John, and Brian Inderwies and his wife Jasmine; his three grandchildren, Madeline, Anna Rose, and Alexander; his sister, Agnes Loughlin, his sister-in-law, Patricia Lawrence, and his niece Cindy Butti and his nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Tuesday September 24th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Frank’s funeral will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday September 25th at 9am; a 10am Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Denville, NJ.
