So very sorry to read of Doris's passing. I went to grammar and high school with her and also was in Girl Scouts with her mother being my leader. Doris was a sweet gentle person and I send my condolences to all of her family. Linda Calame O'Dell

My sympathies to the family. I know how much she loved them. She was so proud of her sons and grandchildren. I met Doris 1984 when we worked at the Rockaway Mall. I miss our outings to Chester NJ and the Outlet Shopping in Tannersville. Doris was young at heart, enjoyed life and was always happy to hear from friends and family. I will miss her.

I met Doris through her Mother. I use to give her Mother rides to work at Aircraft Radio. Yes, I have many memories of Doris, like our trip together when we went down Florida to see Rick & Pauline & we survived two tornadoes down there. Through the years her Dad and Mom adopted me as a daughter & Doris her sisters adopted me in their family as a sister. We had a lot of hourly conversations on the phone since she moved to Florida & I never thought she would hang up. Doris loved to talk & I patiently listen. One day she called me & we were talking for about 2 hrs (I wanted to get off the phone) so I went to my door & knocked on it & told Doris there was somebody at my door & she said, " I let you so now." Thank God! LOL My condolences go out to Rick, Bob. my sisters, grandchildren, & the entire family & friends. Doris, I will miss you dearly & our lengthy phone conversations & sharing alot of things & laughing together. Till I meet up with you again, Rest In Peace! Love You Dearly! My prayers are with you & your family. God Bless All! With All My Love, Karen

My sympathies to the family of Doris Getch Heller. I have many memories of when we were in Girl Scout Troop 90 together. The most memorable was our trip to the Girl Scout Camp in Cuernavaca, Mexico in 1959. My Mother (Jo Santora) and Doris' Mom (Mrs. Getch) accompanied our troop on the trip. Doris was also a classmate of mine in Denville Schools and Morris Hills Class of 1959. So sorry.
