Joyce Helen Miller passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, NJ. She was 83 years old. She was born in Nipper’s Harbour, Newfoundland, Canada. She raised her family and resided in Denville, NJ for the past 56 years
She was predeceased by her brother Warrick Tilley and sisters Callie Batstone and Ethel Norman.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William T., three sons, William C. and his wife Melanie of Dover; James and Sharon of East Stroudsburg, PA; and Glenn and his companion Liliana, of Budd Lake, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Bolton and four grandchildren, Trisha, Matthew, Kerry and Jennifer and two great grandchildren, Devon and Madison and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial service at 10am will be held on Monday, September 23 at St Mary’s Church in Denville. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, 575 Woodland Avenue, Madison, NJ 07940-0159.
