When we got into the limo on the way to our honeymoon, Aunt Nonie was the first -right there bidding us a safe journey. When one of my family members was all over me with "I told you so!" Aunt Nonie was there with a broom helping sweep the debris from my broken tail lights. When my Mom was in labor, I went running next door and Aunt Nonie smiled at me and said "well, now, let's call your father" in a most gentle and comforting way. I don't remember whose wedding this was, be it Billy, Nancy, Ricky or Donna but I recall Aunt Nonie wearing a yellow gown with her hair up in the back and Uncle Red in a blue tuxedo and they were such a strikingly handsome couple, the most beautiful couple together. We have been so fortunate to have known them and appreciate their heritage. Although far apart, there's a special place in our heart for this lovely woman Aunt Nonie. You will be missed.

Nonie and Red were wonderful neighbors who became family. We enjoyed being outdoors playing cards and games and shared alot over the years. Nonie had an ability to share her spirit of generosity, hope, wisdom and courage with us and inspired us to enjoy life. Her laughter still echoes in our mind and we will cherish our memories of her forever. She was a lovely person and a very, very dear friend. We are happy to think that she joins Red, Billy and Ricky and vision her on a cloud of peace. Our thoughts and prayers go to all their family and our Thanks to God for such dear friends.
