Lauren and Cheryl,Bill and I were so sorry to hear the news of your dad. I just lost my sister yesterday and had been in hospice with her for a long time and out of touch with day to day goings on otherwise we would have come. :( I remember your dad always had a big smile and a bigger bike! LOL Know that you now have another angel to watch over you and guide you and keep you safe and please accept our sincere condolences. To all of the family as well. Mary & Bill Covert and family

I am so very sorry to hear about Ken. I was away for the weekend and just got your message when I arrived home on Sunday. It was too late for me to stop by the funeral home for the visiting or the service. I am so sorry. Our families have all had too many losses over the past few years..I can't believe it..My heart goes out to you and your family. I will miss seeing Ken riding down the road on his motorcycle or sitting outside his garage with the bike parked beside him on a nice sunny day. Maybe he and Russ are riding together now in heaven. Mr. Burke was like a 3rd Grandfather to me. Living so close I saw him more often then my other two. Spent a lot of time over the years talking to him about politics. He helped me form some solid Right-wing political views. I will never forget his big bike, sense of humor and special water (in the Gatorade bottle). I Will miss him very dearly.
The world needs more real people like Ken Burke. We are all at a loss to see him pass.

I remember so many wonderful, happy times with Kenny that I can't pick just 1 in particular. I've never seen him with a smile on his face, the passion for his grandsons. The zest of life and oh how he loved his bikes. I will miss him so very much & my heart aches for you Cheryl, Lauren, Kevin, Andrew and Patrick and for Bert as well. May you all find the strength to overcome this sadness and remember all the wonderful, happy times we all had with Kenny. A truly loving man. RIP Kenny. Tell Rosemary we miss her, but happy you two are reunited again. We will all miss him. Please call on me if you need me for anything. Any of you are welcome to call me.
