Florence J. Oravetz (DelTufo) passed away on July 5, 2011 at Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center in Denville, NJ.
She was 91 years old.
Born in Newark she had lived in Brooklyn, NY and then in Madison, NJ before moving to Denville, NJ 12 years ago.
Florence had worked as a secretary for Tungsol Electric before retiring g in 1944.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years Albert Oravetz of Denville, NJ. She is also survived by her loving children Marie Oberst of Lebanon, PA, Alice Bell of Binghamton, NY, Peter Oravetz of Hoboken, NJ and Betsy Bergman of Livingston, NJ. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her sister Beatrice Schraft of St. Paul, MN.
Funeral services will begin on Friday July 8, 2011 at 9AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mt. Lakes, NJ for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment services will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. Friends may visit on Thursday July 7 from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
