Patricia Torre, 59, passed away on June 18, in her Orlando home, after a tough battle with lung cancer.
Born, February 17, 1952, to Barney and Stephanie Koplin, Patricia graduated from South Orange High School in 1970. She went on to pursue a teaching degree from Fairleigh Dickinson and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 1976. She taught kindergarten in the Newark School System before getting married and having children.
After Patricia resigned from teaching she worked along side her husband Gregory at Adco Liberty Manufacturing in New Jersey, for over 10 years. After moving to Florida in 2002, Patricia became co-owner and vice president of Aynsely Nicole Interiors of Boca Raton, Florida. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed cooking, reading, and country music.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Barney and Stephanie Koplin and her brother, Arnold Koplin.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Gregory Torre of Orlando, her daughters, Alexandra Torre of Orlando, and Danielle Torre of Denville, her grandson, Stanton Thomas VanWinkle V of Denville, and her beloved dog Max.
Patricia’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Patricia), on Friday June 22nd at 8:30am for a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary’s Church Denville, NJ interment committal service at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday June 23rd at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers we would like donations made to the American Lung Cancer Association.
