Antonio DeFilippis, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Andover on Tuesday June 7, 2011.
Antonio was born in Lenola, Italy. Antonio came to the United States in 1965, he received his Bachelor Degree in Language Arts in 1973 at Montclair State College. Antonio was the Co-Owner of Caffe Navona in Rockaway for the last 16 years.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife Kim (Carlucci) DeFilippis, his siblings, Paolo DeFilippis of Brazil, Celeste Cirillo of North Plainfield, Norma Scott of Bedminster, and Marco DeFilippis of Andover, and many nieces and nephews.
Antonio’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Antonio on web site), on Friday June 10th at 10am for a 11am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Catherine of Siena Church Mountain Lakes, NJ, interment and committal service at St. Mary Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung, NJ.
