Richard "Rich" Arci passed away on May 29, 2011. He was 61 years old. A devoted father, loving brother & son and a genuine friend to many.
Born in Paterson, NJ, raised in Montville, NJ, resided in Boonton, NJ before moving to Parsippany, NJ 8 years ago.
A partner in the family business, Arci's Deli and most recently worked for Verner-Cadby Ford as a Sales-Leasing Consultant.
He was predeceased by his father Edward A. Arci, passed in 1983 & sister Margaret M. Valletta passed in 2008.
He survived by Phyllis Arci and his two children, Richard Valentino Arci & Danielle Marie Arci of Morris Twp, NJ. Mother, Margaret G. Arci of Montville; Brother, Edward J Arci of Stanhope; Sister, Patricia A. Bini of Montville; Nieces Lisa Corea, Karen Copestick, Kimberly Ragazzo, Gina Dziak, Teresa Ford & Marissa Arci and Nephews James Leonard, Arthur Valletta & Anthony Arci also survive him.
Rich was a avid sportsman, coached Boonton/Mountain Lakes Grayhawks, Boonton Blue Devils Morris County Majors & The Morris Mariners through several championships in the United States (over 30) baseball league. Life long devoted NY Jets & Mets fan. Rich was passionate about all types of music from Doo Wop to Hip Hop & instilled music into his children. Rich's daughter Danielle is a Broadway actress & Rich's son Richie is a recording artist and musician. Rich had a beautiful voice that will always be remembered.
Friends may call on Sunday, June 5th 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. at Norman Dean Funeral Home, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ. A liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 6th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Church in Montville, NJ. Interment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave East Hanover, NJ.
