Vincent Coombs passed away at Compassionate Care of Dover on Friday April 22, 2011. He was 82 years old.
Vincent was born and raised in Sunnyside Queens and raised his family in Flushing Queens until 1978. He then moved to Rockaway Township where he resided for 33 years. He was a current member of the Rockaway Township Seniors.
Vincent was a Korean War Veteran. He served in the Army from 1950-1952 and was Honorably Discharged.
Vincent is predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret and his dear son Daniel.
Vincent is survived by his loving children: Chris Coombs and his wife Eileen of Parsippany, Cathy Flatt and her husband Tom of Lake Hopatcong, Stephen Coombs and his wife Linda of Sparta, and his daughter-in-law Donna Coombs who is currently residing in Florida.
He was a cherished grandfather to Kristina, Linda, Brian, Stephanie, Jessica, Kelly, Grason, and Brendan.

Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 26th from 5-8PM. A Funeral service is scheduled at the funeral home on Wednesday April 27th at 11:00AM. Committal and internment services to immediately follow at Denville Cemetery.
