Joseph A. Wolsin, 92, of Bradenton, Fla. formally of Randolph, NJ. Died on Monday January 24, 2011 in Bradenton, Fla.
Joe retired from New Jersey Bell Telephone after working there for 31 years, and was a member of the Pioneers Club of America.
He had served in the US Army during WWII.
He had been a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus in Morristown, NJ and a member of the Tara Golf and Country Club in Bradenton.
He is predeceased by his first wife of 22 years Dorothy, his parents Andrew Wolsin and Bertha Oleksak Wolsin and his brother Msgr. Carl Wolsin as well as a stepson Neil McEnroe.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Christina of Bradenton, his son Robert and his wife June of Cumming, GA, His daughter Susanne Baker and her husband Alex of Nutley, NJ and a stepson Brian McEnroe of Calf.
He is also survived by five grandchildren Michael Wolsin of GA, Jillian Baker of NJ, and Robert Wolsin of Md., and Bryan and Jim Delp of NJ, and three step grandchildren in Calf., two great grandchildren Madison and Julia Wolsin of GA, his sister Elizabeth Nutting of St. Petersburg, Fla, and his two nieces and two nephews Joan DeFaveri, Darlene Grayson, David Nutting, and Paul Nutting.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Saturday May 7th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's RC Church in Denville, NJ, committal and interment service will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
