Janis Kirchgessner, 61, passed away at her home in Rockaway on Friday, March 11, 2011.
Janis was born in Paterson and was a resident in Rockaway for 22 years. She worked at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson, as a Senior Radiation Therapist for 25 years.
Janis is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Kirchgessner. Loving mother to her daughter, Janelle Passafaro and her son, Anthony Passafaro. Cherished sister to her brother, John Lamwers and his wife Karen, and sister Pattie D'Andrea and her husband Joseph.
Janis is predeceased by her adored parents, Herbie and Irene Lamwers.
Arrangements through Norman Dean Home for Services, Denville, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 16th at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 123 E. Blackwell St., Dover, NJ, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. A Funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
