Obituary of Margaret C Mournes

Margaret C. Mournes, 85, died on Friday Feb. 11, 2011 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ. She was born in Hoboken, and lived in West Orange, before moving to Rockaway and finally to Denville in 1995. Marge has been an active member of the community and her church St. Mary's in Denville. She was a member of the National Council of Catholic Women, a member of the Bible Study, and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Her memberships also included the Denville Municipal Alliance Committee, the Denville Senior Citizens, Wednesday group, volunteer with the Joey Bella Memorial Fund, and her preparation of meals for Hope House in Dover, NJ. She had also been a Girl Scout leader. Marge had retired several years ago as a sales Assoc. For the Macy's in Ledgewood. Her husband William died in 1995. She is survived by her children Margaret and Brian McCluskey and William Mournes and his fiance Sonja Steinagel, and her granddaughter Erin McCluskey all of Denville. She is also survived by her cousins Helen Bordenstein of Kingston, NY, and Dolores Bailey of Rifton, NY. Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, on Tuesday Feb. 15, 2011 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at St. Mary's RC Church in Denville,NJ.
