Suzanne Michaels (nee Keegan), 45, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Sue’s Life will be held on Thursday, August 29th at 12 noon at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, NJ. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ryan Michaels Academy, 9 Church Lane, Montville, NJ 07045 or Autism Speaks, www.autismspeaks.org

Born and raised in Staten Island, Sue and her husband moved to NJ 18 years ago. Suzanne graduated from Pace University with a BA of Science, and then went on to receive her MA in both Biomedical Science and Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from UMDNJ, and a MA in Public Administration from Rutgers. In 2009 she founded the Ryan Michaels Academy in Montville, NJ. Sue’s energy and love for life and her family was profound. She was an amazing wife, mother and daughter and leaves happy memories to her children and family to cherish forever.
Predeceased by her father James Keegan; she is survived by her loving husband Jeffrey of 20 years; her sons Jason, Andrew, Ryan and Gregory; her mother Mary Ann Keegan; brother James Keegan; in laws Steve and Jacalyn Michaels; and many more loving relatives and friends.
