Obituary of James F. Prutting

James F. Prutting, 77, died on Tuesday Jan. 4, 2011 at his home in the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ.
He was born, raised, and lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Denville in 1970.
Jim was a commercial artist working in New York City with various advertising agencies before becoming the Art Director for the Loews Corporation Hotel and Theaters in New York where he retired in 1996.
He had served in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean War.
He was an avid Fly Fisherman and a member of the Trout Unlimited, Hacklebarney Chapter. An active member of St. Mary's Church in Denville as well as a member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Council Knights of Columbus, and a long time member of the Indian Lake Community Club.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan M. nee Petroski. His children Charles of Seattle, WA., Eileen & Thomas Dillon of New Alexandria, PA, James & Stacy of Charleston, SC, and Kathleen of New York City. He is also survived by his grandson James Frederic of Charleston, SC.
