Some of us called you grandma and some of us called you nana but we all have one thing in common -- we were blessed to have you in our lives and even more blessed to be able to experience your warmth, devotion and joy over such a long and glorious life. I have so many fond memories of the time I spent with you that I can't even begin to pick a favorite -- whether it was playing "knee football" with my cousins in your kitchen in West New York or gathering around your TV to watch "The March of the Wooden Soldiers" or rocking out to Beatles songs and Saturday Night Fever in Georgette and Roberta's bedroom, I spent most of my childhood counting the days to the next holiday at grandma's house. You taught me so many valuable lessons over the years, but the thing I always admired most was your devotion to your family -- and to keeping the family together no matter what. I have always tried to emulate your passion and devotion to family in my own life and I can only hope that we can all pass down the lessons you taught us to our own children and grandchildren and great grandchildren so that your spirit will live on in all of us !! I'll love you forever gram...

Grama L, You are the hart and soul of the Lampiasi family. The building block for all our beautiful families. My inspiration as a youth for wanting a family of my own. The unconditional love you gave all off us is amazing. There was no doubt that the second Melissa was born and they said "its a girl", that Eleanor would be in her name. A tribute to you for ever. Give Grandpa a hug and kiss for us because I know you are with him. We love you very much. We will all miss you very much, but good bye is not forever.

Dear Grandma -
Where do I begin to express how much of a blessing you've been in my life . . . How I treasure the memories we've made together, and how fortunate I feel to have you as my Grandmother. I remember such fun times like . . . Palisades Amusement Park, family picnics and riding the swings together at the park, weekend sleepovers, summer vacations and how you would make whirlpools with us (but we could only get your hair wet on the last day of vacation!) Mickey D's fresh fries without salt! and all the wonderful holidays and birthdays . . . and so many, many more great times! Greg feels blessed too to have you as his Grandma and to have shared so many wonderful times! Your joy for life, love and devotion to your family are an inspiration to all of us! And through these wonderful memories, your love and presence will always be felt in our lives.
With our Love,
Lisa (Your Rose) & Greg

I am sorry to hear about your loving Mother. She was very fortunate for having such a loving and caring family. She must have been a great Mom and Grandma. I will always remember lunchtime in H.S. when I had her delicious meatloaf. I could never figure out how she put that egg in there.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

To My Dear Grandma--I have so many wonderful memories of you and our family growing up. I cherish every one of them. I can still remember seating in the kitchen in West New York @ Christmas throwing walnuts on the top of your cabinets. The adults would came in and yell to "stop doing that!" You would came in and say leave those kids alone this is my house and its ok with me. When I said I was moving to Alabama, you were behind me 100%. You said, Are you happy? Does Jeff make you happy? Well then go! She said she would miss me but she knew it was the right thing for me. Everytime I spoke with you or came up to visit, you could tell I was happy and that's all you needed to know. I am sorry I can't be there to say goodbye. I know you are looking over me (and will always do so)& I thank you for being the wonderful grandmother you were to me and Jeff and my 2 children. I have always kept a picture of you on my fridge so my kids would always know their great-grandmother. I will always keep you in my thoughts and prays. Rest in Peace, I will miss your sweet smile. Love your Chintz (her nickname for me)

I didn't get to see Auntsie Eleanor often, but I always had such fond memories of her. My mother Christine spoke so highly of her and considered her to be a second mother. I remember how I thought she always looked so put together, always had her hair and make-up done and looked fabulous everytime I saw her even at 91. I loved how she took such pride in herself. In my eyes she was a person who commanded respect from others and was a strong good hearted woman. I enjoyed her sense of humor and above all she loved her family more than anything. Everytime I saw her she made me feel loved and special. I'm so glad I got to spend time with her recently. We will all miss her...
