Tio, you will forever be in our hearts. I will always remember the stories my Grandmother shared with me about you. How important family is and how you helped her bring her family to the United States. The values you and her shared are what make the foundation of family strong and that it what I try to instill in my children now. I will forever remember the visits to NJ in my childhood and the times we spent in Portugal together. Love Mario Rocha & Family.

I have only known you for a brief portion of my life, but you have inspired me with the many stories of your life. Even though we did not speak the same language we enjoyed many times together. I'll never forget walking with you on the beach and how the waves would pull us closer and closer. My favorite memories lie at your old apartment it Newark. Whenever I visited I was filled with joy and knew that there was love all around. When I would greet you and Great Grandma you would always say your classic catch phrase to me, "Uh Oh, Spaggettio's!" Looking back on these memories I wish I could have heard more of your stories. I know that you are not truly gone and that nobody ever really is. You will live on inside all of the people who love you, and all the people who you love. El chi amu Great Grandpa, thank you for helping me to grow up and for being one of the greatest role models I have ever known and had the pleasure of spending time with. - Kyle

I'll forever miss your smile and loving ways. You always showed how to be strong and to persevere through the tough times, how to heartily enjoy all the good times, what it takes to be a loving and understanding parent, and most of all how to appreciate even the simplest things of life.
