Cray, 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at his home in Morristown. Kevin was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to Morristown many years ago. He achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Jersey City State College. He was a Health Inspector for the Town of Morristown where he served 30 loyal years before retiring 2 years ago. He had a passion for doo wop music, he had a love of fine dining and good music, he was a die hard Yankee fan, and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Notre Dame Football teams. Kevin was a member of the Eagles Club in Morristown and a founding member of the Colonial Tavern Debating Team in Morristown. Kevin was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Sabina Cray. He is survived by his sister and her husband Kathleen Cray-Kaden and Richard., his two nephews Michael and Dylan. Due to snow storm and traveling conditions funeral service has been re-scheduled to Wednesday December 29th at 10:00am at funeral home. Kevin’s funeral service will be conducted on Monday December 27th at 10am at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Kevin on web site)., relatives and friends will be received on Sunday December 26th at the funeral home from 2- 6pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society.
