Alex Szekula Jr. passed away at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ on August 15, 2013 at the age of 73.
Born in Dover, he was a life long resident of Mt. Hope, NJ.
Alex was the owner / operator of Szekula Excavating in Mt. Hope, NJ for 25 years before he retired in 2008. He was a member of the American Truck Historical Society, Metro Jersey Chapter.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Mary T. (Chrush) Szekula of Mt. Hope, NJ.
His children Anthony Szekula & his Fiance Krista George of Mt. Hope, and Tracy & her husband Thomas Flippin of Morris Plains as well as his grandchildren Edgar Alex Flippin, Elizabeth Daley, Steven George and Anthony George and his brother Jerry Szekula of Rockaway, NJ also survive him.
Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday August 18, 2013, from 2-6PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834.
