Regina Scott (Hopkins) passed away at her home in Denville, NJ on December 21, 2010.
She was 79 years old.
Born and raised in Newark, she had moved to Whiting, NJ where she lived for 20 years before moving to Denville, NJ earlier this year.
Regina worked as a secretary for the Archdiocese in Newark, NJ for 24 years before retiring in 1990.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Scott in 2001, and by her brother Joseph Hopkins in 1987.
Regina is survived by her loving children Steven & Susan Scott of Belleville, Andrew & Rene Scott of Bayville, Carolyn Turner of Lake Hopatcong, Barbara & Steven Lenis of Rockaway, NJ and Ann Marie & Chet Collins of Stoughton, MA. Her grandchildren Lindsey, Jason, Casey and Stephanie and her sister Ellen Gardner of Wall Twp., NJ also survive her.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass will be held on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at 10AM at the St. Francis Chapel in Denville, NJ. Friends may visit one hour prior to the Mass at St. Francis, and on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834.
