Roy Abrahamsen passed away at his home on Sunday December 5, 2010 after a short illness.
He was 52 years old.
Born in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY he had moved to the Lake Telemark Section of Rockaway Township, NJ in 1965. He worked as a Union Carpenter for over 30 years alongside his father and brothers.
Roy is survived by his three brothers Alf, Alex, and Carl Abrahamsen along with his nieces and nephews; Tricia Rossicone, Lauren, Christopher, Kevin, Melissa, Brynn, and Carl Jr. and his 3great nieces and 1 great nephew; Jacob, Alexis, Pattianne and Taliah. Roy was loved by them all.
Funeral services will begin at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Friday December 10, 2010 at 10AM, then going to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockaway Twp., NJ at 11AM. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Please light a candle in his memory at: www.normandean.com.
