Obituary of Robert E. Carr

Robert E. "Uncle Bob" Carr passed away at Arden Courts in Whippany, NJ on November 11, 2010.
He was 82 years old.
Born in Newark he had lived most of his life in Morris Plains, NJ before moving to Seminole, FL and then back to Whippany, NJ 2 and half years ago.
Robert served in the US Navy during WWII where he was a Chef, something he would continue for the rest of his life. He also worked at Shoprite in Livingston and Morris Plains, NJ before retiring in 1989.
He is predeceased by his Wife Margaret (Cortese) Carr who passed away in 1993, his son Robert Carr who passed away in 2005, his parents Albert V. and Etta May Carr, his brothers Albert, Wesley, Harold and Ronald Carr, and his sister Lorraine Koenan.
Robert is survived by his Sisters Evelyn Hudson, June Rockhold, both of Largo, FL and Carol Donatelli of East Hanover, NJ. He is also survived by Nieces & Nephews, especially Mary Ann Cortese and Holly Kenney, and all his friends at Arden Court.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday November 16, 2010 at 9Am at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 for a 10AM Interment service at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel in East Hanover, NJ. Friends may visit on Monday fro 4:00 - 8:00PM. Please light a candle in his memory at www.normandean.com. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
