Catherine was born in Astoria, NY, was a resident of Plainfield and North Arlington before settling in Lyndhurst for 60 years and in 1998 became a resident at Franciscan Oaks in Denville. She was an Owner Operator with her late husband Alfred at the Lyn-Maid Garment Company in Lyndhurst for 60 years. Alfred was drafted during WWII served overseas and Catherine on the home front kept the business going. Catherine was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst and a member of St. Mary’s Church Denville and helped out at many charitable functions. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1996, her seven siblings, Rosario Dolce, Rose Mastroberti, Camille Picone, Paul Dolce, Joseph Dolce, George Dolce, and Salvatore Dolce. Catherine’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ, www.normandean,com, (please light a candle in memory of Catherine on web site), on Friday Oct. 29th at 8:30am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial service at Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst, NJ, entombment committal at Holy Cross Cemetery, No. Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday Oct. 28th at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
