Obituary of Raymond Heller

Raymond Heller, age 74, of Union, passed away at his home Thursday, October 21, 2010. Born March 12, 1936, in Denville, NJ he was the son of Norman Heller and Edith (Cook) Anthony and grandson of Horace & Floretta Cook. He worked in the banking industry as a loan officer, retiring from the Chatham Trust Company in the early 1980's, and then in managerial positions for a variety of companies for many years. In his later years Ray volunteered with many charitable organizations including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Union County.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Heller of Arvada, CO and Glenn Heller of St. Peters, MO; grandchildren, Sean, Stephen, Eric, Danielle, and Lynn Heller; and brothers, Gary and Bob Heller.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:00am at Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Burial will follow in Rockaway Valley Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 7-9 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boys and Girls Clubs of Union County, 1050 Jeanette Ave, Union, NJ 07083.
