Joe was a big part of my life in my early years of friendship with Bill W. I have wonderful memories of the farm, his deep voice and the twinkle he always had in his eye. Tracy & Penny: I wish I could be there, in person, to share this time with you. Goddess bless.

Dear Tracy and Angel,
I'm so sorry for the tremendous loss you are feeling. Your Dad was such a special person, look at that great smile in this picture.
Tracy, I remember the story of you going to dinner with him the first time, I think you were about 10, and got all decked out in dress up clothes including a big floppy hat, your Mom wanted you to change but he said leave her be....I believe he said it was love at first sight. How sweet!!!
He will be missed, the world was a better place because of your Dad.
May you find peace and may joyful memories fill all the sorrow in your hearts.
Love,
Johnna

Joe, as I look back over the last several decades it becomes obvious I really didn't get to know a lot of my family, including my children, including you. I can only say I remember you as a quiet, reserved man always willing to help out where needed (not that you were all that fixing toilets, but still a lot better than me :>) The world is a sadder place now that you are gone, and I'm sorry to have heard you passed.

I am so sorry to hear that Joe has died. He has been a mentor, an inspiration, and a good friend. The wisdom that he shared has helped guide me through my journey, and I have shared some of it with others. Joe will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
