William T. Taylor passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ on September 27, 2010.
He was 81 years old
Born in Rockville Center, NY he had spent many years in Massapequa Park, Long Island prior to moving to Bridgeport, CT, and then to Denville, NJ 2 years ago.
William achieved his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from St. John's University in New York prior to working as an investment banker at Bankers Trust in New York for 27 years before retiring in 1995.
He served in the US Army Reserves, and was active with Toys for Tots, United Way, and he volunteered at the Police Department in Bridgeport, CT as well as his condo Association in Bridgeport, CT and at Franciscan Oaks in Denville NJ.
William is survived by his Nephew Kenneth J. Smith of Flanders, and his Niece's Kathleen S. Fisher of Chester, and Diane S. Poltorak of Bellemead, NJ. He is also survived by 9 Grandnieces & nephews, and his cousin Janet T. Byrne of Bridgeport, CT.
Funeral services will begin at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Friday October 1, 2010. Visitation will begin at 8:30AM till 10:30AM, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ at 11AM. Please light a candle in his memory at: www.normandean.com.
