Linda L. Matthews, 63, passed away on Monday Sept. 27, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hosp.
Linda was born in Paterson and grew up in Denville, she later moved to Rockaway before moving back to Denville.
She has been a newspaper delivery person for both the Daily Record and the Star Ledger for over 20 years, delivering to the Denville, Rockaway and Mt. Lakes area. She had also earned her License as a Certified Nurse Assistant and had worked for Grannies Nannies in Rockaway as a personal care giver.
Linda was very devoted to her family and friends, and worked hard to take care of everyone.
She is predeceased by her son Arthur Matthews Jr as well as her father Robert Otto Lax and her brother John Lax.
She is survived by her daughter Amy Koeppelle of Netcong and her grandchildren Arthur Matthews III, Jamie L., Gwendolyn S. and James Koeppelle. As well as her mother Victoria Lax of Denville, and her brothers Robert and James Lax also of Denville, NJ. She is also survived by her loving friend Andy Gallegan of Bloomingdale, NJ.
