I remember Miss Hench as a really terrific teacher. She had all the qualities a teacher should have, kind, loving, caring. My son was crazy about her and really liked going to school when he had her for a teacher. She touched many lives and all for the good.

My daughter had Miss Hench in 4th grade. I got to know her as a great teacher and a wonderful person. Over the years we would bump into each other now and then. She was always interested in what my daughter was doing as well as me and the rest of my family. She was a very special lady. I am so glad I knew her. I will pray for her and for all who are grieving.

Katie and Provincetown will forever be linked in memory. Her buddies remember her humor, her love of the sea,and her delightful sense of the politically incorrect. She loved spaghetti, action movies, and her friends. She was a unique force of nature.
For the good times,
Diana and Randie

I had Ms. Hench for a 4th grade teacher years and years ago. I was in a bad car accident when in her class that year and she had the entire class make me homemade cards and she hand delivered them to me herself in the hospital. I will never forget her kindness nor will I ever forget her. Sad to hear of her passing but we will all meet again one day. My sincear sympathy to the family.
