Rose M. Kovacs (Matyas) passed away at her home in Denville, NJ on Sunday August 1, 2010.
She was 94 years old.
Born in Bethlehem, PA, she moved to Newark at the age of 10, and then lived in Wharton for 66 years prior to moving to Denville, NJ in 2006.
Rose was a homemaker, but she did work for several years at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Twp., NJ in 1950's.
She is predeceased by her husband Geza Kovacs who passed away in 1994.
Rose is survived by her children John (& Pat) Kovacs of Denville, NJ, Stephen (& Sue) Kovacs of Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Kenneth (& Janet) Kovacs of Effort, PA, Kimberly (&Randy) Myrum of Racine, WI, Karin (& Matthew) Kanneberg of Rincon, GA, and Michael Kovacs of St. Augustine, FL. She is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren and her Brother Joseph Matyas of Basking Ridge, NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 7, 2010 at 10AM at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ.
