Charles F. Marron, age 83, of Toms River, formerly of Garden City, SC and Denville, NJ, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 4, 1927 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the He served his country during WWII in the US Marines. Charles was a member of the Denville VFW Post 2519 and a Little League baseball coach in Denville for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Daniel John Marron. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann M. (Kiernan) Marron, of Toms River, NJ; sons Michael and his wife Carla of Denville, NJ, and Larry and his wife Peggy of Independence, NJ; grandchildren, Laura, Michele, Sean, Brian, Katie, Timmy and Kelly; brothers, Sylvester and his wife Mary Ann and Vincent and his wife Gertrude; sisters, Joan Marron and Joyce Consenza; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will begin Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 9:00am at Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, for a 10:00 Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Denville. Burial will follow in Denville Cemetery. Relatives and Friends may visit at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday.
