Rena Leonilde (Tironi) Benjamin, 85, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville.
Rena spent most of her life as a devoted homemaker, but did work as a secretary for over 30 years, mostly at the Stapling Machines Company in Rockaway, NJ She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Cecilia’s Church in Rockaway.
Rena is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert F. “Bob” Benjamin, as well as her brothers John and Condido Tironi.
She is survived by her sons, Bob Jr. and Tom, both of Rockaway and her siblings Mary Chilcott and Benito Tironi, along with many nieces & nephews.
Services will begin 9:00 am Wednesday, July 31, at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834, for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, Rockaway, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Cecilia's Cemetery in Rockaway. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday.
