Obituary of Andrew S. Fisher

Andrew S. Fisher, 35, died on Thursday July 22, 2010 at his home following a short illness. Andy was born in Livingston and spent his entire life in Denville. He had graduated from Morris Knolls High School in 1993, and later received a B. A. in Political Science from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. in 1998. He then received a Masters in Administrative Sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ. He started his Law Enforcement career as a Detective with the Passaic County Prosecutors Office and later became a Police Officer with the Denville Police Department, where he retired with a work related disability. Andrew was a life member of the Denville PBA Local 142, and he had received The Valor Award from the Morris County 200 Club. He is the son of Wayne S. Fisher of Denville and the late Kathy A Fisher. He is also survived by his brother and sister in-law Tim and Mary Fisher of Denville, his former wife Erika McKeon Fisher of Rockaway, and his paternal grandmother Helen Fisher of Port Orange, Fla. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 26, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
