She was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Sophie and Michael Ciecura. She grew up in Jersey City then moved to East Meadow LI, NY to raise her children before moving to Maplewood and then to Rockaway, NJ. She is predeceased by her husband Martin, her sisters Nellie Pipchick, Blanche Ciecura, Mary Lutter, her brothers, Walter and Stephen Ciecura. She is survived by her son Michael Arenson and her daughter Janet Alter and her husband Jonathan, her brother John Ciecura and his wife Marion, and her sister in law Joan Ciecura. She is also survived by her grandsons, Matthew Alter and his wife Laura and Daniel Alter and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday morning June 25th from 9am to 11am at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Ann on web site). A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be offered at St. Cecilia’s Church, Rockaway, NJ at 11:30am, committal interment services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
