Myron N. “Bud” Thunberg died Sunday May 30, 2010 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover, NJ. He was 90.
Born in Braham, Minnesota, he had lived in Boonton Township for past 59 years.
Myron served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He retired from the Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark after 40 years of service. He was an original founder of the Boys Club of Boonton Township, a member of the Boonton Township volunteer Fire Department and served on the Boonton Township Planning Board. He has been a longtime active member of the Denville Community United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years Alice (Eriksen), his son Mark Thunberg and his wife Susan of Parsippany, his granddaughters Allison and Adrienne of Parsippany.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services on Saturday June 12th at 11:00am at Denville Community United Methodist church 190 Diamond Spring Rd., Denville, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 400 Morris Ave., Denville, NJ 07834.
