Theresa F. Franko, age 79, of Denville, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. Born in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Katherine (Bednarz) Kraska. Theresa was an eager and active volunteer in St. Mary's Church and the Denville community.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John "Jack" Franko; brothers, John and Steven Kraska; and sisters, Helen Chamra and Mary Kuhnert. She is survived by her sons, Mark Franko and wife Shirley of Hughesville, MD and Keith Franko and wife Patti of Fanwood, NJ; and grandson; Kevin P. Franko of Fanwood, NJ.
Services will begin Thursday, May 27, at 9:00 am at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Denville. Burial will follow in Denville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 on Wednesday.
