Antonetta Lozita, ag 93, of Boonton, formerly of West Chester, passed away Saturday, May 8 at St. Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ. Born May 26, 1916 in Toritto Bari, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Anna (Mincieli) Cassamaasima. She traveled to the United States in 1954 with her family and worked as a seamstress and for Revlon in Manufacturing/packaging before becoming a full-time homemaker. She was well known for her sewing skills and for her masterful work in the kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo.She is survived by her three daughters, Lucy (Arthur "Artie") Regel, of Boonton, NJ, Anna (Anthony "Tony") Ciccotelli, New City, NY, and Rose (Lawrence "Larry") Baldasare of Pauling, NY; grandchildren Lisa Saunders, Cristina (Charlie) Farrell, and Allison and Stacey Baldasare; and great-grandchildren Jude and Lucia Farrell.
Services will begin Wednesday, May 12 at 9:00am at Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Denville. Entombment will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the (Name, address)
