Irene Volpe (McGinley) passed away on April 29, 2010. She was 74 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY she had lived in Queens, NY for many years before moving to Denville, NJ in 1985 to be near her family.
As a wife, mother, and grandmother, Irene spent her life taking care of her family. She had just moved into her own apartment in Wharton where she was excited to begin a new phase in her life.
She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Salvatore Volpe who passed in 2009. Irene is survived by her loving daughter Terri Brady, son-in-law Jack, her grandsons Christopher and Gregory Hammill, her sister In-Law Theresa McGinley, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday May 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ.
