Elizabeth "Liz" (Nee Kirchhofer) Collins, age 79, passed peacefully on April 2, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital , Denville, NJ.
Liz was born on October 27, 1930 in Bronx, NY. She married Richard Collins in 1953. She moved to Denville in 1957 and then moved to Franciscan Oaks in 2008. Liz was a graduate of NYU with a degree in elementary education. She was a substitute teacher in the Denville School System for many years. During her many years in Denville, Liz was an active volunteer both in the community and at the Church of the Saviour. Liz will be missed by her many close friends and family.
She leaves her adoring husband Richard and daughters Cathy (& Bill) Jensen, and Diane (& Franco) Meza all of Denville, NJ. She also leaves her two Grandchildren Andrea Jensen and Blake Meza. Liz is also survived by her brother Donald Kirchhofer of Queens, NY and 5 Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will take place at the Church of the Saviour in Denville, NJ on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at 11AM. Friends may visit on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ.
