To Bobby & the entire Ruppel family, My deepest sympathies on the loss of such a precious person. I have fond memories of a lovely woman who so graciously made us fried green tomatoes for lunches.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I used to meet Rena half way between her home and ours to exchange mail when Hank and I first moved to Florence Ave if the mail was addressed only to The Ruppels Florence Ave. with no house number

Aunt Rena, I will always have a special place in my heart for you. I look back growing up at the shore and Cedar Lake, I wouldn't trade it for anything and I feel very blessed! You and Uncle Frank were such an important part of my life, I thank you for that. Rest in the peace of Gods love. xoxo, Kathy

Dear Bill, Sue, Bob, Karin and families. What can we say? Aunt Rena was a remarkable Lady. A true matriarch!! Which we all loved and enjoyed. From us (now the elders) to our young. Like I said in my email- the Ruppel/Valestin family reunions must go on in her memory. Pete, Wenz and I will never forget our "private little chats" with Aunt Rena. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, during this difficult time. With Lov The Valestins, Maplewood, NJ
