Mary B. Murray on February 9, 2010. Born on April 3, 1926 to George F. and Freda C. (Nee Loeffel) Donovan.
She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Donovan.
She is survived by her children Mary C. “Kathy” Allen of Massapequa, NY and William P. “Bill” Murray of Denville, and her beloved grandchildren, Kathleen Allen, Christopher Allen and wife Ester, Joseph Allen and wife Lisa, and her great grandchildren Matthew, Ryan, Brooklyn, and Jake.
Living most of her life in New York and retiring after 33 years with NY Telephone, Mary moved to Denville in 1994. She participated actively at Franciscan Oaks as contributor to and editor of the newsletter worked the marketplace and sang in the chorus. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and St. Clare’s Auxiliary to which memorial donations are appreciated.
Mrs. Murray’s Funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Mary on web site), on Monday February 15th at 9am for a 10am Mass of Christian burial service at St. Mary’s Church, Denville, NJ. Interment committal services on Tuesday February 16 at 11am at Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday February 14th at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
