I can't describe the sorrow that I feel because of Marge's passing. Our family will always treasure all the memories of our beach outings, holiday celebrations, trips to the theater and happy lunches and dinners with all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will miss her unending gifts and cards and letters of love and support. We never saw Marge have an "off" day. We will miss her patience and her love every day.

There are angels, then there is you Marge. So profound were your words as well as your actions. From the weekends at the beach to the endless conversations about life and especially sports(the dumb Giants!)Your uncanny ability to pick people up when they are down as well as your words of encouragement were equaled by no one. You are loved, you are missed, and like the last chapter in the great books you've read, the story ends but is never forgotten. Love always
Andy Bishop(Grandson)

Over the past twenty years since I was an undergraduate, we have written countless handwritten letters - yours in such beautiful script. Each time I received one, I'd wait to open it for a bit... until just the right time when I could sit down, take my time, and soak it in. One of my favorite sentiments that I heed daily, "Darby - keep your bags packed so you can travel at a moment's notice." You taught me (and the rest of us - Maggie, Katy, Mark, Matt, and Andy) to take risks and throw ourselves headlong into life - making the most of each moment, of each day. You were a beacon for me and my goodness - I will miss you so. I was fortunate-as-could-be to have had you as my second grandmother. I loved you with all and your presence is already missed more than you know (except I am sure you know). Gratefulness abounds; you are always in my head and heart.

Condolences to all of us who have lost a dear friend and wonderful neighbor (ours for nearly 30 years). My children will always fondly remember her for her (and Mary's) lollypops and chats. Marge always took time to talk to the kids and was a part of our lives. I will miss our dinners to 'catch up' on what is going on with everyone. Sweet lady I am happy we said 'I love you' the last time we met. God bless.

Marge and her sister, Mary, were known as "The Girls" to our family. We met them when our children were little, and they were like extra grandmothers to our kids. When Marge became "One of the Girls," she continued to remember our kids and remained a loving influence in our lives. May she rest in peace with the Lord. We will miss her.
