Obituary of James H McCloskey

James H. McCloskey, 52, died on Monday Jan. 4, 2010 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ.
Jim was born in Englewood and moved to Denville in 1959 where he has lived, worked and became involved in the fabric that made up Denville.
He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors in Landscape Architecture.
He owned and operated Ivy Crest Enterprises in Denville.
Jim had served on the Denville Twp. Council from 1996 until 2008, where he had served as Council President from 1999 to 2000. One of his greatest accomplishments was in building field #7 at Gardner Field where he coached his children on the Denville Little League as well as Denville Hub Soccer.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Diana, his four children JP, Rory, Kara, and Conor all of Denville.
He is also survived by his parents Robert and Florence McCloskey of Denville as well as his brother Robert also of Denville, and his sisters Ann Brown of Darien, CT, Marybeth Blom of Bronxville, NY, and Kate Erdmann of Bolingbrook, Ill.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, N.J, www.normandean.com. on Friday Jan. 8, 2010 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at St. Mary's RC Church in Denville, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Please light a candle on the web site in his memory.
