Obituary of Eleanor Ida Anderson

Eleanor Ida Anderson, 88, of Denville, passed away Thursday, December 17,
2009 at her residence. Born June 20, 1921, she was the daughter of the
late Charles and Ruth (Hurlburt) Hallaway. Eleanor was a registered nurse
and served her country in the US Navy during WWII. She was an active
member of the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany and a member of the
Order of Eastern Star, Caldwell Chapter 61, since 1967. Eleanor also enjoyed
bowling with the Hanover Twp. Seniors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
David, her brother Nelson, and her sister, Ruth. She is survived by her
son, Bruce Anderson, of Maricopa, AZ; daughter, Susan Trisler, of Denville;
grandsons, David Anderson, of Phoenix, AZ, and Ryan, Sean, and Evan
Trisler, all of Denville.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2009 at 12:00 pm at the
First Presbyterian Church in Whippany. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial
Garden at the First Presbyterian Church in Whippany. All are invited to attend
a luncheon at church immediately following services. Cremation services by
Norman Dean Home For Services, Denville. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to Denville First Aid Squad, 2 Indian Rd, Denville, NJ 07834.
