Roberta Ann Morris Roberta Ann Morris, 89, died Thursday December 10th at the Masonic Home in Burlington, NJ. Roberta was born in Astoria, NY to David and Josephine Griffiths. She moved to Denville when she was a young girl. She married Samuel C. Morris in 1940 and raised six children. She graduated the Morristown Business School in 1939. She was very active member of the Eastern Star Harding Chapter #194 and Later Pearl Chapter #79 of Dover. She served as Worthy Matron and also Worthy Deputy of the 6th District. Roberta and her husband Sam moved to Richmond Hill, GA in 1987. She was also active in Eastern Star there. She was President of the Richmond Hill Garden Club. In 2001 they moved back to New Jersey to the Masonic Home where she resided until the time of her death. Roberta is predeceased by her husband of 67 years Samuel C. Morris Jr. and her daughter Bonnie Reissner. She is survived by her sister Jean Hogeboom, her sons, Samuel, Michael, Robin, and Morgan, and her daughter Holly Jo Beach, and her 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday December 18th from 3-5pm with a 5pm funeral service at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Roberta on web site).
