Thanks for a lot of good memories and great lessons learned. You were a great example of a father, grandfather, and husband, and a cool Brooklyn guy, too. Love them Brooklyn guys. Thanks for Easter brunch, and especially for a Fathers' Day I got to spend with your family when I really needed it. My love to the family.

Joey and I were probably 15 when you took us down the the shore house and I wondered one night how many times you would tell us to go back to bed before someone got a beating! The beating never came..... Honestly my biggest memory is the most recent, watching you with your grandkids at white meadow beach and it seemed like you would prefer to be nowhere else on earth. A good man with a big heart that's what I remember..

I REMEMBER GARY GRAMMA
Gary hung up his spikes today,
And no more here the game he'll play.
Right next to him at third was I,
You knew he was a special guy.
Gary'd sit so others played,
Real sacrifice himself he made.
And God would always see us through,
More championships than just a few.
More games we'll one day play on high,
All Stars for God, he and I.
SAVE A SPOT FOR ME TILL THEN,
FROG
