Then we also become sand someday. No matter what, you had a wonderful life with your wife and children. Those are things we expect and not regret. Wish you peace and a lots of love. Ty Camerlingo.

Dear Claire and family,
Your entire family was so good to us when we moved to Denville in 1970. For me, moving the middle of my junior year in high school was a traumatic experience. If not for the LaRosas I don't know that I would have ever adjusted. What a great family; you all welcomed us as if we were already old friends. I was so glad that Mike and his son Jesse were able to visit NJ this summer and even attend your 60th anniversary party. I loved seeing the pictures of everyone! You are a truly loving and giving family. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Linda

During Ron's beautiful eulogy, he mentioned his father's ability to offer unsolicited advice. I couldn't help but think, although it may have been unsolicited, it usually wasn't unwarranted. When we were kids the conversation started with, "Hey Charlie" regardless of your name; this was his call to attention. Giving advice was just one of his many ways of caring and giving the benefit of his experience.
Although he will be rightfully missed by many, I can still see him in as I look around, I see a great family, a caring and loving wife, and a great group of siblings and grandkids.
They say that your sense of humor and ethics are the influence of you father; it isn’t everyone that leaves such a wide and complete mark on the world as Dan did. These things don’t happen by accident or luck; his spark, his integrity, and influence will live throughout the generations of LaRosas to follow and followers... are the hallmark of great leaders.
Thank you Dan

There are too many memories to write in this small space. Uncle Danny was a "Giant" of a man, his sense of humor and love of family was unprecidented. He was a loyal and sensitive human being, caring and kind. He will always be with us in spirit, he is with His maker now and walking on streets of gold that the Angels have prepared for him. He will be missed in body but his warmth will surround us forever.

Mr. LaRosa's youngest daughter, Lisa, and I were best friends growing up. I lived down the street from her and spent quite a bit of time at her house. Mr. LaRosa was a very warm and easy going man who always had a smile on his face (just like in this photo). He and Mrs. LaRosa always made me feel like one of the family. I particularly remember one occasion when I had dinner at Lisa’s house. The atmosphere was light and festive with a lot of joking and laughter, the polar opposite of dinner time at my house. It was at that moment that I wished I was born a LaRosa. Heck, they had six kids, what was one more?
Mr. LaRosa was the idyllic husband and father, it was obvious to me that his family loved and respected him. I did too.
Mr. LaRosa, you will always have a special place in my heart. You will be deeply missed.

GrandPa,
Thank you for helping create such a beautiful, loving family! You are my only grandpa, and the only grandfather I ever needed. I always described you as one of the smartest, funniest, and sweetest men I've even known. I'm going to miss you very much, but I have many great memories of you and will never forget you, nor will I ever stop talking about you! I wish everyone could be as lucky as me (and the rest of the family). I know you passed with peace of mind that we will take care of, and be there for GrandMa...and for each other! I love you, and thank you for bringing everyone together!

My own father passed away before my son was born. Lucky for me, my kids have had the best grandfather a person could ask for. Not only have you been a wonderful grandfather to our children, you also “adopted” me and treated me like one of your own sons. You provided us with love, caring and understanding, and provided me with advice and wisdom for which I will remember and cherish always. I love you Dad, and miss you. You will be in our hearts forever.

I have always loved Grandpa very much. He always gave me great advice, and intresting stories from when he was a kid. He told me one time he and his friends would go around on Thanksgiving and ask, "Got anything for Thanksgiving?" Today we know that as Halloween. I will never forget that for as long as I live. After Grandpa passed away I really remembered all that he has done for me and our family. He will always be remembered as an outgoing guy.

While we mourn today at the loss of a loyal husband, devoted father and grand-father, dedicated brother and uncle, and overall good person, we can rejoice in the memories of Dan that we will carry with us forever. Very few people can light up a room with positivity and a sense of welcoming the way that he did. He showed us the true meaning of "family" and the importance of keeping those ties and traditions alive for the next generations. Heaven may be getting a little over-crowded with La Rosas, but Dan's spirit and our thoughts of him will be in our hearts here on earth for all time.
Love, Uncle Bill, Bill and Margie

Dad, I owe you so much. You have been an incredible influence in my life and are such a big part of it. I cherish the moments we have had. My memories of you will live with me forever. Your humor and laughter, wisdom and guidance are gifts that you have given unselfishly. You taught us that family is the most important thing and showed us that through example. You taught us to face our challenges head-on with tenacity, honesty and integrity and showed us that through example. You also taught us to enjoy life and showed us that through example as well. Sometimes people tell me "you remind me of your father." That is the highest compliment anyone could ever give me. I am honored to have your name. I love you and miss you so much. I do not even know where to begin, Grandpa was an amazing man he was always very loving, honest, and forgiving Ive had many special memories with grandpa we even have a home video of when grandpa came out to visit a long time ago when Jenny, Greg, and I were all young and grandpa was sitting in the recliner chair speaking Italian to me and i would blow kisses every time he spoke Italian. its probably my favorite home video ever. Ive also got to spend most of my birthdays out in New Jersey with grandpa and the rest of the family and they were the best birthdays! Grandpa also wanted the best for all of his children and grandchildren, he knows we all have the potential to do whatever we set our minds to he had a lot of faith in all of us and i hope i turn out to be an amazing person just as he was. Dad, I will always be grateful to you for your selfless commitment to family. When any one asks me the meaning of family values, I simply think of the way you lived your life for the good of your family. It never ceases to amaze me how much you gave and how little you expected. You have positively influenced the lives of so many people from your children/grandchildren to nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers and sisters. Your sense of humor complements your sense of confidence and courage to lead and teach by example. You inspired me to be focused, work hard and be tenacious in pursuing my passions. From here on the journey I face will be much easier knowing I have you watching over and guiding me every step of the way. I love you and will cherish the memories.

And out of the millions of memories I have of you, I will never forget how much you love each and every one of us.
